That seems to be the logical opinion. But the problem is, it would create a perpetual motion machine as the cat’s feet would be pulled to the earth, as would the buttered side of the toast, thus creating the perpetual motion machine. The problem is though, perpetual motion machines don’t exists, hence the paradox.
